INTRODUCTION:

A.      FELLOWSHIPkoinonia,  Fellowship ( Phil. 1:5 ),  Contribution ( Rom. 15:26 ),

                   Communication ( Gal. 6:6 ).

B.      LITERALLY – “JOINT PARTICIPATION” or “CLOSE ASSOCIATION.”

I.      WELL ILLUSTRATED IN THE UNITY OF THE BODY.

A.      PHYSICAL BODY – PERFECT HARMONY.

B.      1 Cor. 12:12.  THE BODY OF CHRIST.

          1.       Division destroys fellowship ( vs. 20 ).

          2.       Diligence and loyalty to the standard ( Eph. 4:1-3;  1:22-23 ).

II.     IN WHAT ARE CHRISTIANS TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP?

A.      WORSHIP ( Acts 2:42;  1 Cor. 10:16-17 ).

B.      THOUGHT AND PERSPECTIVES ( 1 Cor. 1:10 ).

C.      WORK ( Phil. 1:27;  Eph. 4:16 ).

D.      JOYS AND SORROWS ( Rom. 12:15 ).

E.      SALVATION ( Jude 3 ).

III.    SOME THINGS IN WHICH WE MUST NOT HAVE FELLOWSHIP.

A.      SATAN AND HIS WORKS ( James 4:7-8 ).

B.      UNBELIEVERS ( 1 Cor. 15:33;  Eph. 5:6-7;  1 Cor. 5:9-10 ).

C.      UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS ( Eph. 5:11 ).

D.      ERROR ( 2 John 9-11 ).

IV.   UPON WHAT IS OUR FELLOWSHIP BASED?

A.      ON FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD ( 1 John 1:3-4 ).

B.      FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD BASED ON WALKING IN THE LIGHT ( vs. 6-7 ).

          1.       All sin ( vs. 8, 10 ).

          2.       All have access to forgiveness ( vs. 7, 9;  2:1-2 ).

C.      IF ONE WALKS IN DARKNESS, THE BASIS OF FELLOWSHIP IS GONE.

D.      WHAT IF WE CONTINUE TO FELLOWSHIP? ( 2 John 9-11 ).

E.      WHAT SHOULD WE DO? ( 2 Thess. 3:6, 14-15;  1 Cor. 5;  Eph. 5:11 ).

F.      WHAT IF THE CHURCH DOES NOTHING ( Heb. 3:12;  Gal. 6:1;  James 1:27 ).

G.      2 Thess. 3:15OUR ATTITUDE ( Eph. 5:1;  Ezek.  33:10-11 ).

CONCLUSION:

A.      FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD IS OUR MOST PRECIOUS POSSESSION.

B.      WHO HAS FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD?
